Our Session Coordination Team is critical to the success of our program.  This team is key in ensuring a pleasant experience and a smooth-running operation.  This team includes:

  • Receptionists. Receptionists open and close the building to which they are assigned, greet our children and their families, answer questions, and staff our main entrance during the session. Sunday Morning. Two shifts - Opening, 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. and Closing, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday Afternoon. One shift - 4:00 to 6:30 p.m.

  • Classroom Support. Classroom Support staff are stationed at particular points in the school to check in periodically with classroom catechists and aides to ensure they have what they need. Sunday Morning, 10:15 to 11:55 a.m. Monday Afternoon. 4:30 to 6:15 p.m.

Contact Gretchen Magno, Coordinator of Religious Education, to volunteer, to ask questions, or to talk about possibilities.

All individuals over the age of 18 who serve as volunteers for programs involving children must comply with the Archdiocese of Washington's Child Protection Policy.  This includes completing a volunteer application form, an online background check, and attending a one-time class called "Protecting God's Children".  Our Child Protection Coordinator will assist you in satisfying these requirements prior to the start of your volunteer service.
